There are many ways to discover Dubai and its attractions: as a couple, hand in hand; as a family with curious kids; or with a thirst for adrenaline and adventure. We’d like to offer you some inspiration to help make planning your vacation easier.
More and more, more and more …
Dubai is located right on the ocean. Along its nearly 70-kilometer-long coastline, a wide variety of attractions await water lovers, sunbathers, active vacationers, and families. Many hotels have private beaches where you can swim or relax undisturbed. You can experience the lively beach scene at the city’s public beaches. These include the centrally located The Beach JBR and Kite Beach, where a wide variety of sports activities await you.
Vacationers can also get up close to the sea during a guided fishing or diving excursion. A jet ski ride promises pure thrills. If you want to explore Dubai from the water without getting your feet wet, take a ride in a traditional wooden boat across Dubai Creek. One of Dubai’s biggest attractions is the massive Dubai Aquarium. Walk through a glass tunnel and experience the magical underwater world up close.
Adventurers Among Themselves
You’re guaranteed never to get bored in Dubai. You can book attractions in Dubai that offer a little adventure every day. The inflatable AquaFun Water Park promises fun and excitement for the whole family. Experience thrilling slides and water fun for all ages.
If you want to dive in Dubai, Deep Dive Dubai lets you experience the world’s deepest pool and find yourself at a depth of up to 60 meters. If you’d like to see Dubai from a bird’s-eye view, hop aboard a seaplane. There’s plenty to experience in this desert metropolis—and not just by the sea. The mountainous landscape of Hatta is also one of Dubai’s attractions. You can go hiking or explore the wild and romantic landscape on a kayaking tour.

Dubai Mall Attractions
Dubai’s most famous shopping center is located right next to the famous Burj Khalifa and is every bit as impressive as the world’s tallest building. The complex opened in November 2008 and, spanning an area of 350,000 square meters, is home to over 1,200 stores and boutiques.
The stores carry products in the following categories:
- Food
- Electronics
- Fashion
- Souvenirs
- Jewelry and Watches
- Leather Goods
- Cosmetics and Perfume
- Furniture and Decorations
If all that shopping makes you hungry, you can treat yourself to a delicious meal at one of the approximately 150 restaurants and enjoy local specialties as well as international cuisine.
The Dubai Mall is also an amusement park for the whole family. Right at the entrance, visitors will discover the skeleton of a dinosaur, which is said to have come from the U.S. and is estimated to be more than 100 million years old. The “Ice Rink” offers a cool way to beat the heat. Anyone who’s ever wanted to fly a plane can try their hand at the A380 flight simulator. There are also numerous new attractions in Dubai, including the Sega Republic amusement park with over 170 games spread across five different zones.
